O presente trabalho monográfico pretende expor à compreensão a nova forma com que se revestiu uma conduta tão antiga quanto à própria historia da humanidade: a pedofilia. Esse comportamento repudiado por toda sociedade vem sendo aplicado e disseminado no mais e cada vez mais popular meio de comunicação utilizado na atualidade: a internet. O tipo possível através da internet consiste em apresentar, produzir, vender, fornecer, divulgar ou publicar, fotografias ou imagens com pornografia ou cenas de sexo explícito envolvendo criança ou adolescente, a teor da nova redação trazida pelo artigo 241 do Estatuto da Criança e do Adolescente. Tendo como principal meio de divulgação a Internet, a pedofilia movimenta milhões de dólares por ano e expõe milhares de crianças indefesas a abusos que nem mesmo adultos suportariam. O problema é complexo, pois engloba causas históricas, razões sociais e econômicas. A publicidade, juntamente com a intensa participação dos grupos de proteção, parece ter descoberto apenas a ponta de um problema, no qual se envolve sexualidade, educação, ética, usos e costumes, religião, tudo coroado pela repressão do Estado Via justiça penal.The lack of specific legislation concerning the crimes committed via the Internet has peaked in a dissent in the decisions that have faced this issue, among the many bodies and courts of our country. This work aims to expose monographic to understanding the new form that has been a practice as old as the very history of humanity: the pedophilia. This behavior repudiate throughout society has been implemented and disseminated in more and increasingly popular means of communication used at the present time: the Internet. The type possible by the Internet is to present, produce, sell, supply, distribute or publish, photos or images with pornography or explicit sexual scenes involving child or adolescent, the content of the new wording brought by Article 241 of the Statute of the Child and Adolescents. With the primary means of disseminating the Internet, the pedophile moves millions of dollars a year and exposes thousands of defenseless children to abuse that even adults bear. The problem is complex because it encompasses causes historical, social and economic reasons.
