Resumo: The thesis addresses the skills for sustainability subject matter on the research line of the Strategy in Management Post-Graduate Program, Professional Masters in Management of UNICENTRO, featuring the concern for sustainability in the business environment in the social, environmental and economic perspectives. The project also analyses the skills of sustainability at organizational context, in a financial institution in order to verify if strategies are aimed towards to organizational sustainability and how the institution’s management skills has its individual skills actions oriented to sustainability, in order to analyze the strategies and skills focusing on the organizational sustainability of Banco Alfa - Paraná. (Alfa Bank, State of Parana). Thus, the objective is to identify the institution’s strategies and actions, focused on sustainability; to characterize the perception of employees and managers regarding the strategies and skills with a focus on organizational sustainability and to measure the enforcement level of individual skills aimed towards to organizational sustainability. Some categories were related: organizational sustainability, subdivided to economic, environmental and social factors, characterized by the Triple Botton Line, Elkington (1999a); and the individual skills of Wiek, Withycombe and Redman (2011) the skills (focus on systemic thinking, preventive, regulatory, strategic and interpersonal). The research is classified as descriptive with a quantitative induction and an exceptional study case applied to employees of the Banco Alfa - Parana (Alfa Bank, State of Parana), based on a Likert survey of six points, semi-structured and adapted to Stefano and Alberton’s format (2015). The survey was made available through SurveyMonkey survey software, using employee’s corporate e-mail activities and web link research, for the 8636 possible participants of the State of Parana, resulting in 1,042 valid and effective respondents. There were also interviews held with four of the Bank Managers to identify the alignment of their daily graded recitations with the sustainability reports and to obtain any other information available on different website for triangulation of data, in order to support the quantitative data. The information was subjected to SPSS software statistical analysis under Spearman's interconnection analysis, cross-reference test and factor analysis. It appears that the financial institution has programs dedicated to environmental, social and economic perspectives and it applies the context of sustainability in its Mission, Vision and Values. Its strategy is results-oriented, in which the value of "unity" takes a status of generator resource for competitive advantage and other values: ethics, efficiency, public spirit and sustainability are considered competitive feature parity. As perceived by the employees, there is a significant relationship between the employment time in the company, job position and age. Factor analysis identified five sets of dimensions, through the perception of employees with the first represented factor, which highlights the skills to sustainability in the economic dimension, dissociated from TBL model. Individual skills aimed at organizational sustainability can be measured by the mean and standard deviation, predominating greater expressiveness on the legal competence and economic dimension. The project also intends to add information to the financial institution about sustainable strategies and to the subject of skills for sustainability as a form of theoretical and practical integration.

Considera a preocupação com a sustentabilidade no ambiente empresarial sob as perspectivas social, ambiental e econômica. Investiga-se o tratamento dado às competências no contexto da sustentabilidade, em âmbito organizacional, em uma instituição financeira, de forma a verificar se as estratégias estão orientadas para a sustentabilidade organizacional e como a gestão por competências da instituição tem suas ações de competências individuais orientadas à sustentabilidade, com objetivo de analisar as estratégias e competências com foco na sustentabilidade organizacional no Banco Alfa, no Estado do Paraná. Dessa forma, objetiva-se identificar as estratégias e as ações da instituição, voltadas à sustentabilidade; caracterizar a percepção dos funcionários e dos gestores quanto às estratégias e competências com foco na sustentabilidade organizacional e mensurar o nível de implementação das competências individuais voltadas para sustentabilidade organizacional. Algumas categorias foram relacionadas: sustentabilidade organizacional, subdividida aos fatores econômicos, ambientais e sociais, caracterizadas pelo Triple Botton Line, Elkington (1999a); e as competências individuais de Wiek, Withycombe e Redman, (2011), as competências (foco no pensamento sistêmico, preventivas, normativas, estratégicas e interpessoais). Trata-se de pesquisa descritiva, com abordagem quantitativa e estudo de caso único aplicado aos funcionários do Banco Alfa no Estado do Paraná, utilizando-se de questionário likert de 6 pontos, de formato semi-estruturado e adaptado de Stefano e Alberton (2015). A pesquisa foi disponibilizada por meio do software de pesquisa surveymonkey, com uso de e-mail corporativo dos funcionários e link de pesquisa, para os 8636 possíveis participantes do Estado, resultando em 1042 respondentes efetivos válidos. Ainda foram realizadas entrevistas com 4 gestores de unidades do banco para identificar o alinhamento das suas arguições com os relatórios de sustentabilidade e demais informações disponíveis no site da instituição para triangulação dos dados, como forma de suporte aos dados quantitativos. Estes foram submetidos a tratamento estatístico de software SPSS, sob análises de teste de correlação de Spearman, teste de referência cruzada e análise fatorial. Constata-se que a instituição financeira possui programas voltados às perspectivas ambiental, social e econômica e trata o contexto da sustentabilidade em sua Missão, Visão e Valores. Sua estratégia é orientada para resultados, no qual o valor “unicidade” assume status de recurso gerador de vantagem competitiva e os demais valores: ética, eficiência, espírito público e sustentabilidade são considerados recursos de paridade competitiva. Segundo a percepção dos funcionários existe relação significativa entre o tempo de empresa, a comissão exercida e a faixa etária. A análise fatorial identificou 5 conjuntos de dimensões, por meio da percepção dos funcionários com 1º fator representativo o que evidencia as competências para sustentabilidade na dimensão econômica, dissociada do modelo TBL. As competências individuais voltadas para sustentabilidade organizacional podem ser mensuradas por meio das médias e desvio padrão, tendo na competência normativa e na dimensão econômica maior expressividade.
