The Immune System approach in Basic Education: a state of the art

Resumo: | In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, the dissemination of fake news highlighted the importance of approaching Biology content within the in Brazilian educational system. This work presents a mapping of scientific productions on the teaching of the immune system in Basic Education. For that, a bibliographic survey was carried out, in the form of a state of the art, which designed a categorization analysis throughout formal and content aspects. It was observed a surprisingly small number of works dealing with the subject, with an increase in 2018 and 2019, most of these (69%) developed within the Southeast region. The small number of publications reinforce the need for further research regarding this subject and its implications to society. It is expected that this work represents a contribution to research in biology teaching, stimulating scientific production and improving the approach of the contents related to immunology in Basic Education. |

El trabajo presenta un mapeo de producciones científicas sobre la enseñanza del sistema inmunológico en la educación básica. Para ello se realizó un levantamiento bibliográfico, a modo de estado del arte, con un diseño de categorización utilizando aspectos formales y de contenido. Fue observado una cantidad sorprendentemente pequeña de trabajos sobre el tema, con un aumento en 2018 y 2019, la mayor parte (69%) desarollada en la región Sudeste. El bajo número de publicaciones evidencia la necesidad de más investigaciones sobre el tema y sus implicaciones para la sociedad. Se espera que este trabajo represente un aporte a la investigación en la enseñanza de la biología y el perfeccionamiento del abordaje de contenidos relacionados con la inmunología en la Educación Básica.No contexto da pandemia de COVID-19, a disseminação de fake news evidenciou a importância da abordagem dos conteúdos de Biologia no ensino brasileiro. O presente trabalho busca apresentar um mapeamento das produções científicas sobre o ensino do sistema imunológico na Educação Básica. Para tanto, foi realizado um levantamento bibliográfico, sob a forma de estado da arte, que permitiu a categorização dos resultados de acordo com aspectos formais e de conteúdo. Observou-se um número surpreendentemente pequeno de trabalhos produzidos sobre o tema, com aumento em 2018 e 2019, com destaque para a Região Sudeste (69% das publicações). O reduzido quantitativo de publicações encontradas evidencia a necessidade de mais pesquisas referentes ao tema e às suas implicações para a sociedade.
