Resumo: | This article is part of the master's thesis whose central study object was the Assessment Criteria of Teaching Performance, through a comparative analysis between two private education institutions, one located in Portugal and another in Brazil. The Assessment Criteria of Teaching Performance is an important instrument for schools and teachers, as it promotes professional development, motivation of the faculty and leads to reflection, improvement of teachers' performance and quality of teaching. To this end, interviews were carried out with teachers, from both institutions, to investigate the new challenges currently facing teachers, more specifically about the impact of the use of technologies on teaching performance. Most of the interviewees perceive the importance of technology for their practices and both institutions encourage its use because they consider that it facilitates the performance of the teacher and the students' learning. |

A Avaliação de Desempenho Docente é um importante instrumento, para as escolas e para os professores, pois promove o desenvolvimento profissional, a motivação do corpo docente e conduz à reflexão, à melhoria do desempenho dos professores e da qualidade do ensino. Para o efeito foram realizadas entrevistas com professores para investigar o impacto do uso de tecnologias no desempenho docente.
