Modalities and teaching resources used during supervised academic training program in a Biological Science degree

Resumo: | Considering the importance of the diversification of didactic modalities and resources, theanalyze the modalities and teaching resources used in workshops performed by Biological Science Undergraduate students from Mato Grosso do Sul State University/University Unit of Mundo Novo, together with public Secondary and High Schools. For the research, reports from Supervised Academic Training Program in Science and Supervised Academic Training Program in Biology produced during 2013 and 2015 were consulted. The teaching resources were grouped in modalities: “demonstration”, “practical classes”, “individual instruction” and “simulation”. In the Supervised Academic Training Program in Science, the predominant resource were slides, while in the Supervised Academic Training Program in Biology it was posters. In general, the undergraduate students’ perception was that using teaching resources it encouraged students involvement, increasing their interest on the topics covered, what may have contributed for a significant learning. |

In general, the undergraduate students’ perception was that using teaching resources it encouraged students involvement, increasing their interest on the topics covered, what may have contributed for a significant learning.Considerando a importância da diversificação de modalidades e recursos didáticos, procedeu-se à análise de como os mesmos foram utilizados para as oficinas didáticas realizadas por alunos-estagiários do curso de licenciatura em Ciências Biológicas da Universidade Estadual de Mato Grosso do Sul/Unidade Universitária de Mundo Novo, junto a escolas públicas. Foram consultados os relatórios do Estágio Curricular Supervisionado em Ciências e Estágio Curricular Supervisionado em Biologia produzidos durante os anos de 2013 a 2015. Os recursos didáticos foram agrupados em quatro modalidades: “demonstração”, “aula prática”, “instrução individualizada” e “simulação”. No Estágio Curricular Supervisionado em Ciências o recurso que predominou foram os slides, enquanto no Estágio Curricular Supervisionado em Biologia foram os cartazes.
