Writing and metacognition in Mathematics classes using diaries and concept maps: benefits for the teaching-learning process

Resumo: | The objective of this work is to report a supervised teaching stage experience in a public school in São Paulo-SP, in classrooms of High School, from August to November/2011 within the Masters Course in Science Teaching and mathematics Post Graduate Program of Universidade Cruzeiro do Sul. This supervised teaching stage was based on the potential of writing and reading in math classes and its relation to metacognition, as Powell; Bairral (2006), Lopes; Nacarato (2009), Maciel (2008) among other authors. It was registered the student involvement with the mathematic, school subject, improving their relationship with their teacher who came to think of new strategies for involving her students with her discipline and work methodology. |

O Estágio se fundamentou nas potencialidades da escrita e leituras nas aulas de matemática e sua relação com a metacognição, conforme Powell; Bairral (2006), Lopes; Nacarato (2009), Maciel (2008) entre outros autores.
