Perceptions of students of the degree course in Biological Sciences on the teaching of plant physiology with the aid of alternative teaching resources

Negligence in Botany teaching, especially in Basic Education, leads to a lack of interest in the subject. This lack of interest can start with the teacher himself, for not understanding the subject, or for the lack of affinity. The objective was to analyze the perceptions of undergraduates about the use of didactic resources in the Plant Physiology discipline of the Biological Sciences course at a public university. Data were collected through a Focus Group with undergraduates and analyzed according to the Discursive Textual Analysis methodology. It was observed that, among the pedagogical resources evaluated, the “Interactive Panel of the Plant Respiration Electron Transport Chain”, was presented as the most interesting, as it stands out for being more dynamic and interactive, and for favoring meaningful learning.
