Perceptions of students of the degree course in Biological Sciences on the teaching of plant physiology with the aid of alternative teaching resources

Resumo: | Negligence in Botany teaching, especially in Basic Education, leads to a lack of interest in the subject. This lack of interest can start with the teacher himself, for not understanding the subject, or for the lack of affinity. The objective was to analyze the perceptions of undergraduates about the use of didactic resources in the Plant Physiology discipline of the Biological Sciences course at a public university. Data were collected through a Focus Group with undergraduates and analyzed according to the Discursive Textual Analysis methodology. It was observed that, among the pedagogical resources evaluated, the “Interactive Panel of the Plant Respiration Electron Transport Chain”, was presented as the most interesting, as it stands out for being more dynamic and interactive, and for favoring meaningful learning. |

Este desinterés puede empezar por el propio profesor, por no entender el tema o por la falta de afinidad. El objetivo fue analizar las percepciones de los estudiantes de grado sobre el uso de recursos didácticos en la disciplina Fisiología Vegetal de la curse de Ciencias Biológicas de una universidad pública. Los datos fueron recolectados a través de un Grupo Focal con estudiantes de pregrado y analizados de acuerdo con la metodología de Análisis Textual Discursivo. Se observó que, entre los recursos pedagógicos evaluados, el “Panel Interactivo de la Cadena de Transporte de Electrones de la Respiración Vegetal”, se presentó como el más interesante, pues se destaca por ser más dinámico e interactivo, y por favorecer el aprendizaje significativo.A negligência no ensino de Botânica, especialmente na Educação Básica, leva ao desinteresse sobre o tema. Esse desinteresse pode começar pelo próprio professor, por não entender a temática ou pela falta de afinidade. O objetivo foi analisar as percepções de licenciandos sobre o uso de recursos didáticos na disciplina de Fisiologia Vegetal do curso de Ciências Biológicas de uma universidade pública. Os dados foram coletados por meio de um Grupo Focal com os licenciandos e analisados segundo a metodologia da Análise Textual Discursiva.
