Resumo: The difficulties presented to the contents of botany during the teaching and learning process are notorious. Among the numerous reasons, the need to use teaching materials to assist in the practical and theoretical activities essential for dynamic and interactive classes stands out. This work aims to evaluate the material produced entitled "Guide to practical classes in Botany" in order to contribute to the knowledge of plants and their morphological characteristics. The topics were defined through a bibliographic search in the specific literature, in addition to the analysis in textbooks from the first to the third year of high school, available in public, municipal, state and federal schools in the municipality of Buriticupu-MA. After the organization and formatting, the files were printed and delivered, together with an evaluative questionnaire, to the teachers graduated and working in high school rooms in the city, in order to assess the feasibility of use for the Biology classes. The results showed the main positive points: good context, easy to understand language and visual resources endemic to the region. It is concluded that the material produced is significant to provide dynamic and attractive classes, in addition to arousing the interest of students in plant morphology.

Entre las numerosas razones, destaca la necesidad de utilizar materiales didácticos para asistir en las actividades prácticas y teóricas imprescindibles para las clases dinámicas e interactivas. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo evaluar el material elaborado titulado "Guía de clases prácticas de Botánica" con el fin de contribuir al conocimiento de las plantas y sus características morfológicas. Los temas se definieron mediante una búsqueda bibliográfica en la literatura específica, además del análisis en libros de texto del primero al tercer año de secundaria, disponibles en las escuelas públicas, municipales, estatales y federales del municipio de Buriticupu-MA. Luego de la organización y formateo, los archivos fueron impresos y entregados, junto con un cuestionario evaluativo, a los docentes egresados ​​y que laboran en las aulas de bachillerato de la ciudad, con el fin de evaluar la factibilidad de uso para las clases de Biología. Los resultados mostraron los principales puntos positivos: buen contexto, lenguaje fácil de entender y recursos visuales endémicos de la región. Se concluye que el material producido es significativo para brindar clases dinámicas y atractivas, además de despertar el interés de los estudiantes por la morfología vegetal.É notória as dificuldades apresentadas aos conteúdos de botânica durante o processo de ensino e aprendizagem. Dentre os inúmeros motivos destaca-se a necessidade do uso de materiais didáticos para auxiliarem nas atividades práticas e teóricas imprescindíveis para aulas dinâmicas e interativas. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo avaliar o material produzido intitulado “Guia para as aulas práticas de Botânica” de forma a contribuir no conhecimento das plantas e nas suas características morfológicas. Os tópicos foram definidos através de uma pesquisa bibliográfica na literatura específica, além da análise em livros didáticos do primeiro ao terceiro ano do ensino médio, disponibilizados nas escolas públicas, municipais, estaduais e federais do município de Buriticupu-MA. Após a organização e formatação, os arquivos foram impressos e entregue juntamente com um questionário avaliativo, aos docentes graduados e atuantes em salas do ensino médio do município, de forma a avaliar a viabilidade do uso para as aulas de Biologia. Os resultados demonstraram como principais pontos positivos: boa contextualização, linguagem de fácil compreensão e recursos visuais endêmicos da região.
