Production of scientific knowledge and teacher education: an analysis of the process and prospects

Resumo: | Brazil, in the last thirty years, has undergone changes brought about by the reform of the state, which is directly reflected in the educational field and as part of this, the training of teachers, as educators are seen and placed as the main responsible for the process of human development. Thus, the initial training is essential and a requirement before the advances of science and technology. Facing the challenges during the training courses, degrees, we seek to answer the following question: To what extent can we, as trainers, say that the future teacher understands the process of production of scientific knowledge surrounding his formation? What we observe is the difficulty in relating to teacher training with the construction of the production process of scientific knowledge, leading to another difficulty: the specific knowledge to understand the perspective that embraces its social, cultural, political and economic. |

Assim sendo, a formação inicial é imprescindível e uma exigência diante dos avanços da ciência e tecnologia. Diante dos desafios colocados durante a formação nos cursos de graduação, licenciaturas, buscamos a resposta a seguinte questão: Até que ponto podemos, como formadores, afirmar que o futuro professor compreende o processo de produção do conhecimento científico que envolve a sua formação?
