The Pedagogical Residency in the interdisciplinary training of graduates in Natural Sciences

Resumo: Considering the complexity of reality and the importance of promoting teaching practices that help students understand it, the study aimed to follow the development of interdisciplinary pedagogical practices of undergraduates in Natural Sciences during their participation in the Institutional Program of Pedagogical Residency at the Federal University of Vale do São Francisco, on the campus of Senhor do Bonfim-BA and to investigate the benefits of this program for the training for teaching of these students. The research had a qualitative nature, obtaining data through interviews, through the analysis of teaching plans and reports of ten resident undergraduates. These data were analyzed in the light of content analysis knowledge. It was observed that, although interdisciplinarity was confused with multidisciplinarity by the participants, at the beginning of the pedagogical residency, their interdisciplinary training offered in the program helped them in the construction of interdisciplinary thinking.

La investigación tuvo un carácter cualitativo, obteniendo datos a través de entrevistas, a través del análisis de los planes de enseñanza e informes de diez estudiantes residentes. Estos datos fueron analizados a la luz del conocimiento del análisis de contenido. Se observó que, aunque la interdisciplinariedad fue confundida con multidisciplinariedad por los participantes, al inicio de la residencia pedagógica, la formación interdisciplinar ofrecida en el programa les ayudó en la construcción del pensamiento interdisciplinar.Ao considerar a complexidade da realidade e a importância de promover práticas de ensino que auxiliem os estudantes na compreensão dela, o estudo objetivou acompanhar o desenvolvimento de práticas pedagógicas interdisciplinares de licenciandos em Ciências da Natureza, durante sua participação em Programa Institucional de Residência Pedagógica, na Universidade Federal do Vale do São Francisco, no campus de Senhor do Bonfim-BA, além de averiguar os benefícios desse programa para a formação para a docência dos referidos estudantes. A pesquisa teve natureza qualitativa, com obtenção de dados por meio de entrevistas, pela análise de planos didáticos e de relatórios de dez licenciandos residentes. Esses dados foram analisados à luz de conhecimentos de análise de conteúdo.
