Teaching working conditions and their implications in the pedagogical practice of three teachers of Basic Education Mathematics

Resumo: | This text is an part of a research developed within the scope of a Voluntary Research Project, focusing on the intensification of the day, concrete conditions of teaching work and its repercussions on the pedagogical practice of the mathematics teacher. This is a study developed under the assumptions of qualitative research, whose data were obtained through semi-structured interviews with three mathematics teachers who work in different educational networks of cities in the interior of the State of Ceará, whose interviews took place between October and November 2018.The results indicate that the absence of basic materials in the school implies the practice of the mathematics teacher. Also, when working conditions are challenging, mainly due to their performance in different educational networks, they provoke expectations, anxiety and discontent with teaching, although there are many perspectives related to the teacher's performance, considering that he performs functions that transcend the attributions of the teaching profession. |

Se trata de un estudio desarrollado bajo los supuestos de investigación cualitativa, cuyos datos fueron obtenidos a través de entrevistas semiestructuradas a tres profesores de matemáticas que trabajan en diferentes redes educativas de ciudades del interior del Estado de Ceará, cuyas entrevistas tuvieron lugar entre octubre y noviembre de 2018. Los resultados indican que la ausencia de materiales básicos en la escuela implica la práctica del profesor de matemáticas. Además, cuando las condiciones de trabajo son difíciles, principalmente por su desempeño en diferentes redes educativas, provocan expectativas, ansiedad y descontento con la enseñanza, aunque hay muchas perspectivas relacionadas con el desempeño del profesorado, teniendo en cuenta que realiza funciones que trascienden las atribuciones de la profesión docente. Este texto é um recorte de uma pesquisa desenvolvida no âmbito de um Projeto de Pesquisa Voluntária, com foco de discussão na intensificação da jornada, condições concretas de trabalho docente e suas repercussões na prática pedagógica do professor de Matemática. Trata-se de um estudo desenvolvido sob pressupostos da pesquisa qualitativa, cujos dados foram obtidos mediante entrevistas semiestruturadas com três professores de Matemática que atuam em diferentes redes de ensino de cidades do interior do Estado do Ceará, cujas entrevistas aconteceram entre outubro e novembro de 2018. Os resultados apontam que a ausência de materiais básicos na escola implica na prática do professor de Matemática. Ainda, quando as condições de trabalho são desafiadoras, principalmente pela atuação em redes de ensino distintas, provocam expectativas, ansiedade e descontentamento pela docência, embora sejam muitas as perspectivas relacionadas ao fazer do professor, considerando que ele desempenha funções que transcendem as atribuições do magistério.
