Financial education in youth and adult education: a look at academic research carried out in the last two decades

Resumo: The objective of this work is to investigate how Financial Education in Youth and Adult Education has been worked on in the classroom and presented in theses and dissertations in the area of ​​Mathematics Education and/or Science Teaching, in order to map such academic research along of the last two decades and contribute to the search for subsidies for the elaboration of teaching material with the referred theme. This is a qualitative bibliographic research, from the perspective of meta-analysis. The corpus of analysis consists of eleven works extracted from the Theses and Dissertations Catalog of the Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), which were categorized into five strata: Understanding Financial Education, objectives, didactic proposals, interdisciplinary proposals and mobilization of Semiotic Representation Records. The main results obtained indicate that when discussing Financial Education, the relevance of the theme of decision-making is noticeable as a fundamental criterion in actions that involve the good use of financial resources to promote personal success with monthly income. As well as that the didactic proposals commonly involved situations of consumption in the environment of young people and adults in order to simulate and provoke reflexive aspects in the process of financial deliberation.

As well as that the didactic proposals commonly involved situations of consumption in the environment of young people and adults in order to simulate and provoke reflexive aspects in the process of financial deliberation.El objetivo de este trabajo es investigar cómo se ha trabajado la Educación Financiera en la Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos en el aula y se ha presentado en tesis y disertaciones en el área de Educación Matemática y / o Enseñanza de las Ciencias, con el fin de mapear dicha investigación académica. a lo largo de las últimas dos décadas y contribuir a la búsqueda de subvenciones para la elaboración de material didáctico con la temática referida. Se trata de una investigación bibliográfica cualitativa, desde la perspectiva del metaanálisis. El corpus de análisis consta de once trabajos extraídos del Catálogo de Tesis y Disertaciones de la Coordinación para el Perfeccionamiento del Personal de Educación Superior (CAPES), los cuales fueron categorizados en cinco estratos: Comprensión de la Educación Financiera, objetivos, propuestas didácticas, propuestas interdisciplinarias y movilización Registros de representación semiótica. Los principales resultados obtenidos indican que al hablar de Educación Financiera se nota la relevancia del tema de la toma de decisiones como criterio fundamental en acciones que involucran el buen uso de los recursos económicos para promover el éxito personal con ingresos mensuales. Así como que las propuestas didácticas involucraban comúnmente situaciones de consumo en el entorno de jóvenes y adultos con el fin de simular y provocar aspectos reflexivos en el proceso de deliberación financiera.O objetivo deste trabalho é investigar como a Educação Financeira na Educação de Jovens e Adultos vem sendo trabalhada em sala de aula e apresentada em teses e dissertações da área de Educação Matemática e/ou Ensino de Ciências, a fim de mapear tais pesquisas acadêmicas ao longo das últimas duas décadas e contribuir na busca de subsídios para elaboração de um material didático com a referida temática. Trata-se de uma pesquisa qualitativa de caráter bibliográfico, na perspectiva da metanálise. O corpus de análise é constituído por onze trabalhos extraídos do Catálogo de Teses e Dissertações da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES), que foram categorizados em cinco estratos: Entendimento de Educação Financeira, objetivos, propostas didáticas, propostas interdisciplinares e mobilização de Registros de Representação Semiótica.
