STUDY OF THESIS IN MATHEMATICS EDUCATION AND EJA DEFENDED IN BRAZIL IN THE FIRST DECADE OF THE 21ST CENTURY

Resumo: | This study aimed to analyze the theses in Mathematics Education of the Youth and Adults defended in Brazil in the first decade of the 21st century, focusing on the analysis of its problems and main considerations and recommendations. In methodological terms, this is an investigation with a qualitative approach with characteristics of state-of-the-art research, having as material for analysis ten theses with object of investigation dealing with the relationship between Mathematics Education and Youth and Adult Education (EJA), defended in stricto sensu Brazilian graduate programs from 2001 to 2010. As conclusions, it is highlighted that the analyzed theses centered their research problems on young and adult students and on the teacher who teaches Mathematics at EJA, raising among its considerations and recommendations the reaffirmation of aspects relevant to the teaching-learning of Mathematics in EJA addressed by theorists in the area and by the National Curriculum Guidelines for this modality, in addition to adding other important elements to the consolidation of pedagogical practices and teacher training in Mathematics according to the peculiarities of EJA. |

En términos metodológicos, se trata de una investigación con enfoque cualitativo con características de investigación de vanguardia, que tiene como material de análisis diez tesis con objeto de investigación que abordan la relación entre Educación Matemática y Educación de Jóvenes y Adultos (EJA), defendida en stricto sensu programas de posgrado brasileños de 2001 a 2010. Como conclusiones, se destaca que las tesis analizadas centraron sus problemas de investigación en estudiantes jóvenes y adultos y en el docente que enseña Matemática en EJA, planteando entre sus consideraciones y recomendaciones la reafirmación de aspectos relevantes para la enseñanza-aprendizaje de la Matemática en EJA abordados por teóricos del área y por los Lineamientos Curriculares Nacionales para esta modalidad, además de sumar otros elementos importantes para la consolidación de las prácticas pedagógicas y la formación docente en Matemática acuerdo a las peculiaridades de EJA.Este estudo teve por objetivo analisar as teses em Educação Matemática de Jovens e Adultos defendidas no Brasil na primeira década do século XXI, centrando-se na análise de suas problemáticas e principais considerações e recomendações. Em termos metodológicos, trata-se de uma investigação de abordagem qualitativa com características das pesquisas do tipo estado da arte, tendo como material de análise dez teses com objeto de investigação tratando da relação entre Educação Matemática e Educação de Jovens e Adultos (EJA), defendidas em programas brasileiros de pós-graduação stricto sensu no período de 2001 a 2010.
