Practices shared in the development of a statistical project with students from the first grade of Elementary School

Resumo: It is presented a research developed by the researcher and a partner teacher in the production and analysis of a statistical project, by integrating mathematics, statistical education and technology. The research was developed in a public school in a first grade of elementary school class. We tried to identify how the students produce mathematical and statistical knowledge using computational technologies in teaching situations. The research material produced involved: children’s records; videographic and audiographic records of activities; records produced by the partner teacher and the researcher’s field diary. A working partnership was established between the researcher and the teacher that developed the following actions: to plan, develop and analyze teaching situations. The results indicate the importance of collaboration in the planning and replanning of teaching situations, practice that favors the interdisciplinary student learning. The articulation between the computational resources and the physical and material actions enabled students to build a linguistic and statistical knowledge repertoire.

Buscou-se identificar como os alunos produzem conhecimentos matemáticos e estatísticos por meio da utilização de tecnologias computacionais em situações de ensino. O material de pesquisa envolveu registros dos alunos; registros videográficos e audiográficos das atividades; registros produzidos pela professora parceira; e o diário de campo da pesquisadora. Em parceria, a pesquisadora e a professora planejaram, desenvolveram e analisaram situações de ensino. Os resultados indicam a importância, para a aprendizagem interdisciplinar dos alunos, da colaboração no planejamento e replanejamento das situações de ensino.
