Educational Robotics as a pedagogical resource: practice and theory in the teaching-learning process

Resumo: Educational Robotics has been incorporating pedagogical practices, becoming a great ally in the relationship theory and practice. This article is an experience report about a work developed with students from the 7th grade of a private school in the city of Londrina/Paraná. The activity carried out with the students had as objective to work with the contents of simple machines, arithmetic average and average speed, concepts introduced in this year of teaching, in the subjects of Science and Mathematics Laboratory. Starting from this experience, the present article proposes to verify how the awareness of such contents by the students occurs, and the role that Educational Robotics has exercised, as a pedagogical resource. Therefore, first we carry out the description of the activity and then we analyze, in order to understand the importance of using active methodologies as teaching practice for the best development of students, leading to success in the teaching-learning process. As a result of research, with the observation of the proposal, the experience allowed us to observe that activities involving the manipulation of concrete materials, through the construction and programming of technological artifacts, aroused in the students the curiosity, creation and hypothesis testing, thus facilitating the teaching and learning process.

O presente artigo trata-se de um relato de experiência referente a um trabalho desenvolvido com alunos do 7º ano de uma escola da rede particular do Município de Londrina/Paraná. A atividade realizada com os alunos possuiu como objetivo trabalhar os conteúdos de máquinas simples, média aritmética e velocidade média, conceitos introduzidos neste ano de ensino, nas disciplinas de Laboratório de Ciências e Matemática. Partindo desta experiência, o presente artigo, se propõe a verificar de que forma ocorre a tomada de consciência de tais conteúdos pelos alunos, e o papel que a Robótica Educacional exerceu, enquanto recurso pedagógico. Portanto, primeiramente realizamos a descrição da atividade e depois analisamos, a fim de, compreender a importância da utilização de metodologias ativas como prática de ensino para o melhor desenvolvimento dos alunos, levando ao êxito no processo de ensino-aprendizagem.
