Resumo: This paper shows a didactic unit designed inside the Iberoamerican Project about The Nature of Science and Technology(EANCYT) financed by the National Plan of I+D of the Science and Innovation Department (Spain), which aims to stimulate in future Science teachers and primary teachers a better comprehension of the nature of Science and Technology. It pretends to improve some reductionist attitudes / beliefs detected in the previous Iberoamerican Project of attitudes assessment connected with Science, Technology and Society (PIEARCTS) with regard to technological decisions of a country. It poses initially the Fukushima catastrophe and the issues arousing to the global energetic policies with regard to the application of nuclear energy versus “cleaner” energies to finally focus on the complexity and diversity of determinants that take part in these decisions. It suggests several activities that develop cognitive -linguistic competence, metacognitive, procedures and attitudes associated to the sustainability. The impact of the didactic unit will be assessed in different contexts / gender through a pre and post test to be applied to two groups of students between 18 and 22 years old from an experimental group and from another control group, using as the instrument of investigation , the standardized questionnaire of opinions about Science, Technology and society.
