Resumo: This article reports a didactic sequence application involving the use of experimental activities in the study of electrical circuits, ascertaining their pertinence in terms of arousing in students the interest and motivation to learn Physics. This didactic sequence was structured in twelve meetings, where electrodynamics was taught, using videos, simulators, experimental activities, among other resources. The application of the didactic sequence occurred in a class of 31 students of the third year of high school in a public school in Passo Fundo/RS. Data were collected through three research instruments: activities done in the meetings through record in a logbook, records of the experimental classes and interview with students. At the end, it can be inferred that the use of diverse tools and related to the students' experiential situations, introducing the use of technology, acts as a motivator to the student to perform the activities, as well as, stimulate their participation during the physics classes.
