Resumo: This work investigated all the dissertations available from the National Professional Master's Degree in Physics Teaching, from 2013 to 2020. The focus of this research was to identify the themes and theoretical frameworks most used in these dissertations, in order to provide better guidance for choosing Physics topics for future dissertation proposals. In all, 1208 dissertations were analyzed. The results showed that the most discussed topics were Modern Physics, Dynamics, Electromagnetism and Kinematics, and that the most used theoretical frameworks were David Ausubel's Theory of Meaningful Learning, Lev Vygotsky's Social Interactionist Theory and Critical Meaningful Learning Theory of Marco Antonio Moreira. From the results, it was possible to identify some problems in the preparation of dissertations, trends in research topics, in addition to verifying that the analyzed production appears as a strong ally for the discussion of Modern and Contemporary Physics in the classroom.
