MNPEF and the professional development of Physics teachers

Resumo: | The National Professional Master’s Degree in Physics Teaching (MNPEF) is a professional master’s degree in National Network that aims to improve teacher training and the Physic’s teaching in basic education. Based on the concept of professional teacher development, we made a case study of an MNPEF hub and discussed how the objectives pursued by the course unfolded and reverberated in student production and on aspects of training and changes in the professional practice of master’s students. We present a synthesis of the analysis accomplished from the reading of documents that rule the course and semi-structured interviews carried out with two members of the faculty, and the analysis of part of the dissertations and educational products defended at the hub. The research allowed us to visualize the convergences between training demands and the proposal made at the hub, in addition to pointing out gaps and training potential to be developed. |

Partiendo del concepto de desarrollo profesional docente, realizamos un estudio de caso de un centro del MNPEF y discutimos cómo los objetivos perseguidos por el curso se desarrollaron y repercutieron en la producción estudiantil y en aspectos de formación y cambios en la práctica profesional de los participantes. Presentamos una síntesis del análisis realizado a partir de la lectura de documentos que rigen el curso y entrevistas semiestructuradas realizadas a dos orientadores del curso, y del análisis de parte de las disertaciones y productos educativos defendidos en el centro. La investigación permitió visualizar las convergencias entre las demandas formativas y la propuesta realizada en el centro, además de señalar brechas y potencialidades formativas a desarrollar.O Mestrado Nacional Profissional em Ensino de Física (MNPEF) é um Mestrado Profissional em Rede Nacional que objetiva aprimorar a formação docente e o ensino de Física na Educação Básica. Fundamentados no conceito de desenvolvimento profissional docente, realizamos um estudo de caso de um polo do MNPEF e discutimos como os objetivos perseguidos pelo curso se desdobraram e reverberaram na produção discente e sobre aspectos da formação e mudanças na prática profissional dos cursistas. Apresentamos uma síntese da análise realizada a partir da leitura de documentos que regem o curso, de entrevistas semiestruturadas realizadas com dois orientadores e da análise de parte das dissertações e produtos educacionais defendidos no polo.
