Teaching and learning of trigonometric functions through Geogebra software allied to Mathematical Modeling

The present research qualitative, delineated by a case of study with research participating, analyzed the contributions the use of the software Geogebra ally to modeling Mathematics teaching and learning trigonometric functions sine and cosine, from the point of view of Meaningful Learning. The study was applied to 18 students of the second year  of high  school in a public school in the municipality of Marechal Deodoro, Alagoas. The investigation was ruled by a Sequence teaching didactic which was worked the software combined with the mathematics modeling periodic phenomena. The researches results showed that the use of the Geogebra software dynamized the teaching  and  learning  process of trigonometric functions; It was possible utilize mathematics modeling as  a teaching methodology for learning  the  functions  f(x)=a+bsen(cx+d)  and g(x)=a+bcos(cx+d); and the students understoond the  behavior of the  parameters a, b, c and d. The study has as the main contribution the connection realized by the students between the content of the  trigonometric  functions  and  the  daily through of its application in the forecast of periodic phenomena (tide height and lunar phases), getting like this Meaningful Learning.
