Resumo: | This paper reports an experiment in the classroom aiming at the elaboration of work projects for learning the content of biology concerning the origin of the universe and living beings as well as to develop skills and abilities. It was developed with twenty-one students in a class of Biology. There was an excellent performance by the students, creating projects with an interdisciplinary focus. Working thus facilitated learning, attracted interest, and developed a creative and innovative capacity for the planning of classes, choice of education strategies and respect for human beings, opening questions about new concepts aimed at Science Education. |

Working thus facilitated learning, attracted interest, and developed a creative and innovative capacity for the planning of classes, choice of education strategies and respect for human beings, opening questions about new concepts aimed at Science Education.Esse trabalho relata uma experiência em sala de aula visando à elaboração de projetos de trabalho para a aprendizagem dos conteúdos de biologia referentes a origem do universo e dos seres vivos, bem como para o desenvolvimento de competências e habilidades. Essa experiência foi desenvolvida com vinte e oito alunos de uma turma de Licenciatura em Biologia de uma universidade privada do estado de São Paulo. Os resultados dessa experiência mostraram que houve uma excelente atuação por parte dos alunos ao elaborarem projetos com enfoque interdisciplinar.
