Communities of Practice in the school environment: questionnaire as a research instrument

Resumo: This article reports the pathways for the construction and validation of a research instrument which identifies the emergence of Communities of Practice (CoP) in Basic Education environments. For such task, is used as methodological approach, quali-quantitative research, with the confection of survey questionnaires. The instrument’s final version possible after validations, adaptations and layout tests. As result, it was obtained an electronic questionnaire with 32 items of Likert scale responses and 1 dissertative question. These relate the four fundamental pillars of a CoP (mutual engagement, joint venture, shared repertoire and sense of identity and belonging) to eight school spaces constituted by a teaching collective. After the on-line application, in 2021, with teachers working in Basic Education, the questionnaire allowed identifying effectively school environments far from the formation of a CoP, getting close to one and strong constituents of one.

Para tal tarea, tenemos como enfoque metodológico, la investigación cuali-cuantitativa, con la elaboración de cuestionarios de encuesta. La versión final del instrumento fue posible luego de validaciones, adaptaciones y pruebas de diseño. Como resultado se obtuvo un cuestionario electrónico con 32 ítems de respuesta en escala Likert y 1 pregunta de desarrollo. Estos relacionan los cuatro pilares fundamentales de una CoP (compromiso mutuo, empresa conjunta, repertorio compartido y sentido de identidad y pertenencia) a ocho espacios escolares constituidos por un colectivo docente. Después de la aplicación on-line, en 2021, con docentes de la Educación Básica, el cuestionario permitió identificar efectivamente entornos escolares alejados de la formación de una CoP, que están cerca de una y fuertes constituyentes de una.Este artigo relata os caminhos para a construção e a validação de um instrumento de pesquisa que identifique a emergência de Comunidades de Prática (CoP) em ambientes de Educação Básica. Para tal, tem-se como percurso metodológico, pesquisas quali-quanti, com a confecção de questionários survey. A versão final do instrumento foi possível após validações, adaptações e testes de layout. Como resultado, obteve-se um questionário eletrônico com 32 itens de respostas em escala Likert e 1 questão dissertativa. Estas relacionam os quatro pilares fundamentais de uma CoP (engajamento mútuo, empreendimento conjunto, repertório compartilhado e senso de identidade e pertencimento) a oito espaços escolares constituídos por um coletivo docente.
