The difficulties of Statistical teachers in the use of mediatic technologies

Resumo: The teaching of Statistics and Probability has worried teachers of Mathematics, because, although it has an academic formation in this area, it is reduced and focused on the descriptive contents. Teachers know that it is indispensable to have a good training in Statistics and not only teach numeracy and reading of graphs, but also the statistical analysis and use of digital technologies. The article discusses the relevance of teaching and learning Statistics and Probability in Basic Education and High School. This research involved 142 teachers of Statistics and Probability in the last quarter of 2016, in 12 public schools in the macro-region of Londrina. The results showed the difficulties of teachers in the use of specific softwares and media technologies.

The results showed the difficulties of teachers in the use of specific softwares and media technologies.  O ensino de Estatística e Probabilidade tem preocupado professores de Matemática, pois, embora tenha uma formação acadêmica nesta área, ela é reduzida e focada nos conteúdos descritivos. Os docentes sabem que é indispensável ter uma boa formação de Estatística e não apenas ensinar o domínio dos números e a leitura de gráficos, mas também as análises estatísticas e o uso das tecnologias digitais.  O artigo aborda a relevância de ensinar e aprender Estatística e Probabilidade na Educação Básica e no Ensino Médio. Esta investigação envolveu 142 professores de Estatística e Probabilidade no último trimestre de 2016, em 12 escolas públicas da macrorregião de Londrina.
