Teaching carrer: importante pillar to “disconnect” the public university project

Resumo: The national strike of teachers from Federal Education Institutions, organized by Andes-SN in 2012, had as central demands the organization of the teaching career, salary readjustment and improvement of working conditions. This paper intends to give centrality to the fight for the defense of the career – through a brief historical reconstruction of the fight fought in that strike – as a guarantee of the public functioning of state universities. First, we resume some of its main antecedents, then we present the consequences of the strike´s achievements and defeats, indicating the inherent contradictions of the continuity of the privatization process from a new career changes in the same sense as that imposed by the federal government of the Worker´s Party in 2012, with the support of it´s “union” arm, PROIFES-Federação.

Cet article entend donner une place centrale à la lutte pour la défense de la carrière – à travers une brève reconstruction historique de la lutte menée dans cette greve – comme garantie du fonctionnement public des universités. Dans um premier temps, nous reprenons quelques-uns de ses principaux antécécentds, puis nous présenteons les conséquences des acquis et des défaites de la greve, en indiquant les contradictions inhérentes à la continuité du processus de privatisation à partir de nouveaux changements de carriére dans le même sens que celui imposé par le gouvernement fédéral des Parti des travailleurs em 2012, avec le soutien de as branche “syndicale”, PROIFES-Federação.A greve nacional dos docentes das Instituições Federais de Ensino, organizada pelo Andes-SN em 2012, teve como reivindicações centrais a organização da carreira docente, o reajuste salarial e a melhoria das condições de trabalho. Este artigo pretende dar centralidade à luta pela defesa da carreira – por meio de breve reconstrução histórica da luta travada naquela greve – como uma garantia do funcionamento público das universidades estatais.
