Resumo: This paper shows a discussion on the learning experiences that design students acquireby relating their academic practice with the urban context through a creative exercise atParque Chamizal, Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, México that complements activities in classroom. The participation of undergraduate students in Architecture and Master’s in Studiesand Creative Processes in Art and Design within a multidisciplinary process promoted therealization of social skills for teamwork and dialogue. This allowed them to become aware oftheir reality and configure new places of experience, and decide, spaces full of meanings ata geographical, social and historical level with different possibilities for transformation.

La participación de estudiantes de Licenciatura en Arquitectura y Maestría en Estudios y Procesos Creativos en Arte y Diseño dentro de un proceso multidisciplinar promovió la concreción de habilidades sociales de trabajo en equipo y diálogo. Esto les permitió tomar conciencia de su realidad y configurar nuevos lugares de experiencia, es decir, espacios llenos de significados a nivel geográfico, social e histórico con diversas posibilidades de transformación.O texto apresenta uma reflexão sobre as experiências de aprendizagem que os alunos de design adquirem quando relacionam sua prática acadêmica ao contexto urbano por meio de um exercício criativo no Parque Chamizal em Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, México, que complementa o trabalho realizado em sala de aula. A participação de alunos do Bacharelado em Arquitetura e do Mestrado em Estudos e Processos Criativos em Arte e Design dentro de um processo multidisciplinar promoveu a concretização de habilidades sociais de trabalho em equipe e diálogo.
