Resumo: This article analysis the costumes of the performance “A Public Cervix Anouncement” (1990) by Annie Sprinkle (USA) and the plays “Manga Rosa” (2015) by Lua Menezes from Bololô Cia. Cênica (RN/Brazil) and “Stabat Mater” (2019) by Janaína Leite (SP/Brazil), considering how the appearances of the bodies are presented on stage and how they dialogue and tension the judgments and violences concerning the women’s body, arising from moral vigilances. The choices for these pieces were by their aesthetic similarities in their costumes designs, in the pieces of clothes that they present, in the exposition of the body parts and in their dialogue with themes such as erotism, intimacy and autobiography. Besides that, it’s importante to highlight that these three artists in scene are white, cisgender and western women, so, they elaborate the women’s body related to their social and subjective experiences and it does not universalize the experience of being a woman in a society.

Cênica y “Stabat Mater” (2019) de Janaína Leite, reflexionando sobre cómo aparecen en escena las apariciones de estos cuerpos y cómo dialogan y tensam los juicios y la violência sobre los cuerpos de las mujeres, a partir de vigilias moralistas. La elección destas obras se quedan por las similitudes estéticas que existen en el diseño de sus vestuários, desde las prendas de vestir, la exposición de partes del cuerpo y um diálogo con el tema del erotismo, la intimidad y la autobiografia. Además, destaco que las tres artistas en escena son mujeres blancas, cisgeneras y occidentales, por lo que la forma em que elaboran el cuerpo de uma mujer está relacionado com sus vivencias subjetivas y sociales y esto no universaliza la experiencia de ser una mujer en la sociedad.Este artigo elabora reflexões sobre os trajes da performance “A Public Cervix Announcement” (1990) de Annie Sprinkle (EUA) e os figurinos das encenações “Manga Rosa” (2015) de Lua Menezes para a Bololô Cia. Cênica (RN/Brasil) e “Stabat Mater” (2019) de Janaína Leite (SP/Brasil), pensando em como se apresentam as aparências desses corpos em cena e como elas dialogam e tensionam os julgamentos e violências sobre corpos de mulheres, a partir de vigilâncias moralistas. A escolha dessas obras ocorre pelas semelhanças estéticas que existem na concepção de seus figurinos, a partir das peças de roupas, da exposição de partes do corpo e de um diálogo com a temática do erotismo, do íntimo e da autobiografia.
