Resumo: It is customary to allude to the difference between the male and female genders in the social experience of health risk and in terms of social class opposition, attributing to the medium sectors the ability to identify and manage health problems. In an empirical study, we interviewed 62 users of Community Health Centers in the City of Buenos Aires, parents of children under 6 years old. The results of the research allow us to affirm that the transformations registered in social practices around health care do not present significant differences between men and women in individual care, in addition to recognizing common alarms about the health of young children, only differentiated by the agents. Previous experiences in relation to specific topics: alcohol, drugs and 'together'. The territoriality of the dangers refers to the differentiated experiences and responsibilities of men and women in daily and future child health care. Institutions reinforce gender stereotypes while ignoring male participation in child health care in everyday practices.

The territoriality of the dangers refers to the differentiated experiences and responsibilities of men and women in daily and future child health care. Institutions reinforce gender stereotypes while ignoring male participation in child health care in everyday practices. Universidade Estadual de Campinas2012-12-30info:eu-repo/semantics/articleinfo:eu-repo/semantics/publishedVersionTextoTextoinfo:eu-repo/semantics/otherapplication/pdfhttps://econtents.bc.unicamp.br/inpec/index.php/tematicas/article/view/1143210.20396/tematicas.v20i40.11432Tematicas; v. 20 n. 40 (2012): Gêneros, moralidades e sexualidades contemporâneas; 203-242Tematicas; Vol. 20 No. 40 (2012): Gêneros, moralidades e sexualidades contemporâneas; 203-242Tematicas; Vol. 20 Núm. 40 (2012): Gêneros, moralidades e sexualidades contemporâneas; 203-2422595-315Xreponame:Temáticas (Campinas.
