Resumo: This paper reflects on how digital environments are transforming 21st century literature. We analyze the basic changes in literary production and reception in virtual and online environments, focusing on intermediality: the hybridization of artistic languages in synchronic and diachronic modes, especially the symbiosis of visual and verbal-literary language. We consider the reasons why these transformations, already well established in society and among children and young readers, keep on being neglected in Primary and Secondary Education and if they require specific interpretative strategies. Based on these reflections, we propose a referential didactic model for reading mediators, to approach intermedial (literary and visual) phenomena with a critical and dialogic approach.

Nos planteamos si estas transformaciones, ya muy consolidadas en sociedad y conocidas entre los lectores infantiles y juveniles, continúan sin tenerse en cuenta en las aulas de Educación Primaria y Secundaria y si exigen estrategias interpretativas específicas. Por ello, proponemos una matriz, un modelo didáctico referencial para los mediadores de la lectura, para abordar los fenómenos intermediales (literarios y artístico-visuales) con perspectivas críticas y dialógicas.Propomos uma reflexão sobre a forma como os ambientes digitais estão transformando a literatura do século XXI: analisamos as mudanças básicas na produção e recepção literária em ambientes virtuais e nas redes, onde nos centramos numa mudança fundamental: a intermídia, a hibridização das linguagens artísticos expressivos de forma sincrônica e diacrônica, especialmente a simbiose da linguagem visual e verbal-literária. Planejamos essas transformações, consolidadas na sociedade e conhecidas entre crianças e jovens leitores, que faltam nas aulas do Ensino Básico e Secundário e requerem estratégias interpretativas específicas.
