Roland Barthes and fashion: a reading based on the punctum and the studium

Resumo: Based on two statements by Barthes, in La Chambre Claire, the first being the one in which he claims the punctum is the pinnacle of style, and the second the studium would be all that brings together generalized consensus, this study aims to establish the relation between these two concepts and the ideas of style and fashion. Thus, we seek to develop the correspondence between fashion and studium - emphasizing that the latter is close to the idea of ​​myth - and in the same way, that style is linked to the punctum - which is close to the idea of ​​writing. In addition, with the hypothesis of an articulation of the concepts within the Barthesian work, we also seek Barthes' look on the themes of style and fashion in his texts contained in the Inéditos Vol. III: Imagem e Moda, pointing out that the author who was one of the first to foresee the importance of fashion in contemporary society, including the strength of its mythology.

Así, buscamos desarrollar la correspondencia entre moda y studium, enfatizando que este último se acerca a la idea de mito - y de la misma manera, ese estilo está ligado al punctum - que se acerca a la idea de escritura. Además, con la hipótesis de una articulación de los conceptos dentro de la obra barthesiana, también buscamos la mirada de Barthes sobre los temas de estilo y moda en sus textos contenidos en el Inéditos V. III: Imagem e Moda, señalando que el autor que fue uno de los primeros en vislumbrar la importancia de la moda en la sociedad contemporánea, incluida la fuerza de su mitología.Partindo de duas afirmações de Roland Barthes, em A Câmara Clara,  sendo a primeira aquela em que ele afirma ser o  punctum a agulhada do estilo, e  a segunda que o studium seria tudo aquilo que reúne um saber social e consensos generalizados, este estudo visa estabelecer uma relação entre esses dois conceitos e as ideias de estilo e de moda. Assim, procuramos desenvolver a correspondência entre moda e studium - frisando que este último se aproxima da ideia de mito - e da mesma forma, que o estilo está ligado ao punctum – que se aproxima da ideia de escritura.
