Fashion journalism: The slow fashion as news in specialized blogs

Resumo: The aim of this article is to analyze the news published about slow fashion on websites specialized in fashion journalism and identify how specialized journalism in/in fashion has been an important vector of information and ethical awareness about the responsible consumption in Western societies of the 21st century. To this do so, through basic, qualitative and descriptive research, a comparative content analysis of three blogs specialized in fashion was undertaken: (I) Fashion without crisis, (II) Modefica and (III) Urban Stylo, from news and reports on the slow fashion movement. The results showed that, although these websites mostly present fashion trends such as looks of the day and color cards dictated by bloggers, these reveal themselves as fruitful media spaces for more conscious approaches and sustainable alternatives in the fashion content presented.

Para ello, a través de una investigación básica, cualitativa y descriptiva, se realizó un análisis comparativo de contenido de tres blogs especializados en moda: (I) Moda sin crisis, (II) Modefica y (III) Urban Stylo, a partir de noticias e informes sobre el movimiento slow fashion. Los resultados mostraron que, aunque estos sitios web presentan en su mayoría tendencias de moda como looks del día y tarjetas de color dictadas por bloggers, estos se revelan como espacios mediáticos fructíferos para enfoques más conscientes y alternativas sostenibles en el contenido de moda presentado.O objetivo deste artigo é analisar as notícias publicadas sobre o slow fashion em websites especializados no jornalismo de moda e identificar como o jornalismo especializado de/em moda  vem sendo um importante vetor de informação e conscientização ética sobre o consumo responsável nas sociedades ocidentais do século XXI. Para tanto, por meio de pesquisa básica, qualitativa e descritiva, empreendeu-se uma análise de conteúdo comparativa de três blogs especializados em moda: (I) Moda sem crise, (II) Modefica e (III) Stylo urbano,  a partir de notícias e reportagens sobre o movimento slow fashion.
