Resumo: | The article presents the results of an investigation in the field of the practices for initial K-12 teacher training. It intends to present representations about the factors that act as a barrier to the use and promotion of information and communication technologies (ICT) in professional preparation of future teachers for the pedagogical use of ICT. It is an interpretative descriptive study focused on trainers of two public universities in Portugal that train teachers. To meet the objective, twenty semi-directive interviews were conducted. In addition to the constraints in the training curriculum, there is evidence pointing to the difficulty for future teachers to experience and observe examples of ICT use, due in part to the lack of knowledge / training of the trainers themselves in the area and to manifested beliefs and attitudes that act as barriers to the promotion of their use. |

Se pretende dar a conocer las representaciones sobre los factores que actúan como barreras de uso y promoción de las tecnologías de información y comunicación (TIC) en la preparación profesional de los futuros profesores para el uso pedagógico de las TIC. Es un estudio descriptivo interpretativo que se centró en los formadores de dos instituciones públicas de educación superior en Portugal de formación de maestros. Para alcanzar el objetivo se realizaron veinte entrevistas semidirigidas. Además de las limitaciones a nivel del currículo de formación, las evidencias apuntan a la dificultad de los futuros profesores en pasar por la experiencia de observar y experimentar ejemplos de uso de las TIC, debido, en parte, al déficit de conocimientos y/o formación de los propios formadores en el área y a las creencias y actitudes manifestadas que actúan como barreras a la promoción de su uso.O artigo apresenta os resultados de uma investigação que se materializa no campo das práticas de formação inicial de professores do 1.º ciclo do ensino básico. Pretende dar a conhecer as representações sobre os fatores que atuam como barreira ao uso e promoção das tecnologias de informação e comunicação (TIC) na preparação profissional dos futuros professores para o uso pedagógico das TIC. É um estudo descritivo interpretativo, centrado nos formadores de duas instituições públicas de Ensino Superior em Portugal que formam professores. Para atender ao objetivo foram realizadas vinte entrevistas semidiretivas.
