Teaching profile in private higher education and Enade performance

Resumo: The paper presents a descriptive research about some characteristics of teaching in the higher education which are related to the performance of private institutions students on Exame Nacional de Desempenho dos Estudantes (Enade). By using data from Enade (2016 and 2017) and microdata from professors and institutions (2016 and 2017), from Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (INEP), it was verified the impact of several variables on the average of Enade per institution. A multiple linear regression was applied from which it was found that the most significant positive factors were related to the level of instruction of the professors. The results also indicated that the full-time job regime was not a positive factor for the performance on Enade.

Con datos del Enade (2016 y 2017) y microdatos de docentes e IES (2016 y 2017) del Instituto Nacional de Estudos e Pesquisas Educacionais Anísio Teixeira (INEP), se verificó el impacto de diversas variables en el promedio del Enade por institución. Se aplicó regresión lineal múltiple, a partir de la cual se encontró que los factores positivos más significativos están relacionados con el grado de escolaridad de la docencia. Los resultados también indicaron que el régimen de trabajo a tiempo completo no fue un factor positivo para el desempeño en Enade.O artigo apresenta um estudo descritivo sobre algumas características da docência no ensino superior, que estão relacionadas ao desempenho no Exame Nacional de Desempenho dos Estudantes (Enade), dos estudantes de instituições privadas.
