The initial teacher education in Physical Education from the Pedagogical Residency Program: an experience report

Resumo: The Pedagogical Residency Program was instituted in order to improve the training of undergraduate students, encouraging them to act actively in teaching practice, establishing relationships between theory and practice, in addition to providing a closer and stronger relationship the dialogue between Higher Education Institution and the school-field. The study aimed to report the experience of a student of the Physical Education Degree course at the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Ceará - Canindé, during her participation in the Pedagogical Residency Program. The experience in the program contributed to a critical construction in the initial training, where the academic and resident was able to experience “being a teacher” even before entering the job market, combining theory with practice, knowing multiple educational realities and thus emerging deeply in the challenges and possibilities of the teaching career.

O estudo teve como objetivo relatar a experiência de uma estudante do curso de Licenciatura em Educação Física do Instituto Federal de Educação, Ciência e Tecnologia do Ceará - campus Canindé, durante sua participação no Programa Residência Pedagógica.
