Reflections on the insertion process of sport in Physical Education classes.

Resumo: Working sports content in the classroom, besides being naturally long awaited by students, brings a multitude of possibilities to be developed in the classroom; However, during the process of historical construction of Physical Education, we can see that dealing with this content began from a scenario of tension, with a military dictatorship established and a need of our rulers to keep the population distracted, so tournaments and major competitions gained a lot of visibility in Brazil and in the world; The school, in turn, adopted the goal of seeking new athletes to foster this growing industry. This research seeks to reflect on the insertion of Sport in physical education classes, as well as to raise awareness of teachers and managers to rethink the way content is treated, since it is still common to come across physical education classes totally technical and sportsman.
