University teaching and bachelor teachers: the state of the matter

Resumo: The discussion on teacher education arises in different contexts and formative trajectories. Thus, this study aimed to understand the aspects of teaching in higher education for bachelor teachers and the relationship between teacher education, knowledge and teaching practices, in research of dissertations and theses. In particular, teachers who have a bachelor's degree training. The approach of this study is qualitative, using the State of the Question in the writings of Nóbrega-Therrien and Therrien (2004) as a type of research. The results of this mapping resulted in 11 papers that discuss the training of bachelor teachers. In the results presented in the investigations, it is clear that these teachers do not have specific training for teaching in Higher Education. We conclude the need to think about continuing education in Higher Education Institutions that can contribute to the specificities about teaching.

Desse modo, este estudo objetivou compreender os aspectos da docência no magistério superior dos professores bacharéis e a relação da formação de professores, saberes e práticas de ensino, nas pesquisas de dissertações e teses. Em especial, dos professores que possuem formação em nível de bacharelado. A abordagem deste estudo é qualitativa, utilizando o Estado da Questão nos escritos de Nóbrega-Therrien e Therrien (2004) como tipo de pesquisa. Tivemos como resultados deste mapeamento 11 trabalhos que dialogam sobre a formação dos professores bacharéis. Nos resultados apresentados nas investigações, percebe-se esses professores, não possuem formação específica para a docência no Ensino Superior.
