University teaching: training courses for teachers of bachelors who work in undergraduate courses

Resumo: The training paths of higher education teachers to become teachers cross different paths in the teaching of the third degree, whether with the trajectories experienced in education courses or in their specific areas of activity. This study aimed to understand the training of university professors who work in undergraduate courses in Pedagogy, Chemistry and Biological Sciences at a Higher Education Institution in the State of Ceará. This research has a mixed quali-quanti approach. The main methodological theoretical foundations were the studies of specialists in the field of Education. We conclude that the initial training of the baccalaureate teachers is constituted as a training focused on specific areas linked to the initial training of each one, having no training of a pedagogical character for the exercise of teaching, however, because they have training at a specialization level, master's degree and / or doctorate these professionals are able to teach in higher education.

Este estudio tuvo como objetivo comprender la formación de profesores universitarios que trabajan en cursos de pregrado en Pedagogía, Química y Ciencias Biológicas en una institución de educación superior en el estado de Ceará. Esta investigación tiene un enfoque mixto cuantitativo. Los principales fundamentos teóricos metodológicos fueron los estudios de especialistas en el campo de la Educación. Llegamos a la conclusión de que la formación inicial de los profesores de bachillerato se constituye como una formación centrada en áreas específicas vinculadas a la formación inicial de cada uno, sin tener una formación de carácter pedagógico para el ejercicio de la enseñanza, sin embargo, porque tienen formación a nivel de especialización, maestría y / o doctorado estos profesionales pueden enseñar en la educación superior.Os percursos da formação dos docentes do ensino superior para se constituírem professores perpassam caminhos diversos no ensino do terceiro grau, sejam, com as trajetórias vivenciadas nos cursos de educação ou de suas áreas específicas de atuação. Este estudo objetivou compreender a formação dos professores universitários que atuam nos cursos de licenciatura de Pedagogia, Química e Ciências Biológicas de uma Instituição do Ensino Superior do Estado do Ceará. Essa pesquisa possui a abordagem mista quali-quanti. Tivemos como principais fundamentos teórico metodológico os estudos dos especialistas na área de Educação.
