Pedagogical practices for Nature Sciences: seeking afrorreferences

Resumo: | The European invasion of Brazil developed with criminal enslavement that eliminated human lives. Black populations and indigenous peoples were invisible in an attempt to whiten the country. This qualitative research, based on a bibliographic investigation and personal experience, is limited to the contribution of black populations to the construction of scientific knowledge. The present study aimed to investigate the existence of a theoretical framework to support pedagogical practices for the teaching-learning process in Nature Sciences. As initial results, it was possible to perceive some studies that address the relationship between Africanities and Nature Sciences. It is possible to conclude, then, that by relating the knowledge of black populations and the teaching of Nature Sciences, a questionable proposal of reality understood as an affirmative action and anti-racist. |

As populações negras, oriundas dos povos africanos, e os povos originários foram invisibilizados na tentativa do embranquecimento do país que reverbera hodiernamente. Essa pesquisa qualitativa, com base em uma investigação bibliográfica e na vivência pessoal, é delimitada à contribuição das populações negras para a construção do conhecimento científico. O presente estudo teve o objetivo de averiguar a existência de referencial teórico para fundamentar práticas pedagógicas para o processo de ensino-aprendizagem em Ciências da Natureza. Como resultados iniciais, foi possível perceber alguns estudos que abordam a relação entre as africanidades e o componente curricular obrigatório de Ciências da Natureza.
