Peace Building Circles as a Tool for Access to Justice

Resumo: Based on the proposal to change the paradigm of exclusive application of the Criminal Law and Traditional Criminal Procedure for the solution of criminal conflicts, the use of Peace Building Circles as a tool for social pacification has been strengthened. Therefore, this article aims to analyze the Peace Building Circles and their features portrayed in the researched articles. Therefore, a qualitative research was conceived, in which a systematic literature review was used as a methodological strategy, on the CAPES portal, where five studies were selected for analysis and using the descriptor "peacebuilding circles". It was obtained as a result of the research the finding that in all the articles analyzed the Peace Building Circles are considered complementary instruments of traditional justice for access to justice, as it is one of the multi-ports and reveals itself as an instrument of community empowerment of self-composition. Peacebuilding Circles are considered capable of producing and accessing justice, favoring spaces for dialogue and conflict composition without the scope of replacing traditional justice.

Diante disso, esse artigo tem como objetivo analisar os Círculos de Construção de Paz e suas funcionalidades retratadas nos artigos pesquisados. Para tanto, concebeu-se uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa, em que se utilizou como estratégia metodológica a revisão sistemática da literatura, no portal da CAPES, onde foram selecionados cinco estudos para análise e utilizando-se o descritor “círculos de construção de paz”. Obteve-se como resultado da pesquisa a constatação de que em todos os artigos analisados os Círculos de Construção de Paz são considerados instrumentos complementares da justiça tradicional para acesso à justiça, por ser uma das multiportas e se revelar como instrumento de empoderamento comunitário de autocomposição.
