Resumo: | The main objective of this article is to discuss Early Childhood Education, the social and cognitive formation of children based on the reflection of Paulo Freire's writings. Thus, we seek to make an analogy of Freire's conception in the context of Early Childhood Education, we believe that his theory is based on scientificity and, therefore, it can and should be applied among all other stages of education. The methodology chosen to carry out this work has a qualitative approach and bibliographical research on early childhood education, the role of the educator and the process of integral education of children. The research contributes to the discussion of the realization of the analogy between Freire and this educational stage, which is based on the character of his educational method, which takes several categories as a basis, including: dialogicity, autonomy, democracy, citizenship, liberation and collective work. |

Destarte, buscamos fazer uma analogia da concepção de Freire no contexto da Educação Infantil, acreditamos que sua teoria está pautada na cientificidade e, por isso, pode e deve ser aplicada entre todas as outras etapas da educação. A metodologia escolhida para a realização desse trabalho tem a abordagem qualitativa e a pesquisa bibliográfica sobre a educação infantil, a atuação do educador e o processo de formação integral das crianças.
