Resumo: | The present study has as its theme "Between lyrics and melodies: music as a mediator in the formation of planetary citizenship". Education based on the perspective of Planetary Citizenship refers to the search for planetary well-being in the face of conscious action by human beings and their relationship with the social environment of which they are part. The research was carried out in a school of Early Childhood Education of the municipal education network of the city of Picos (PI). The research was carried out through a case study, with a sample composed of teachers of Early Childhood Education, being a class of Preschool, with age group of children of 4 and 5 years old, aiming to broaden the discussion on the topic addressed. In view of all the information contained in this study, it can be concluded that musicalization is an intervention strategy that can facilitate the integral formation of the child. |

A educação pautada na perspectiva da Cidadania Planetária refere-se a busca do bem-estar planetário frente a uma ação consciente dos seres humanos e sua relação com o meio social do qual faz parte. A pesquisa foi realizada em uma escola de Educação Infantil da rede municipal de educação da cidade de Picos (PI). A pesquisa foi realizada através de um estudo de caso, com uma amostra composta por professoras de Educação Infantil, sendo uma turma da Pré-Escola, com faixa etária das crianças de 4 e 5 anos de idade, visando ampliar a discussão sobre o tema abordado.
