The importance of the family in the learning of the autistic child: a bibliographic analysis

Resumo: Our study points out that the care for the autistic child's family is as essential and necessary as the autistic individual himself since the family will be the main agent of claiming the rights guaranteed by the legislation. Our research has a qualitative approach, with a bibliographic nature, whose data were analyzed using the Content Analysis method (Bardin, 1977). As a result, our sample pointed out that family participation can be decisive in the development of the autistic individual, as long as it is guided by professionals, since the family will be responsible for providing the conditions for the autistic to be included in society, with opportunities to acquire basic knowledge about science, permeating school participation, which gives them conditions to understand their surroundings, to expand their options in the job market and to act politically with knowledge of the facts (MOREIRA, 2006).

Nossa pesquisa é de abordagem qualitativa, de cunho bibliográfico, cujos dados foram analisados pelo método da Análise de Conteúdo (Bardin, 1977).
