Resumo: The PNE (2014-2024) sets twenty goals for education that must be achieved within ten years. As for EJA, the PNE reaffirms the need to expand to 25% the offer of enrollment in primary and secondary education, in an integrated manner with professional education. Thus, the general objective of this study was to analyze EJA in the context of goal 10 of the PNE. Therefore, qualitative research delimited in the bibliographic and documental study was used. The preliminary results of the research indicate EJA as a strategy to reduce social inequalities. Therefore, it is necessary to expand the offer of basic education, offer courses that meet the specific needs of the population, guarantee accessibility and a curriculum that values ​​life experiences. It is concluded that the goal 10 of the PNE has not yet been reached and that there is a lack of public policy to guarantee access and permanence in school for young people and adults.

Quanto a EJA, o PNE reafirma a necessidade de ampliar para 25% a oferta de matrícula no ensino fundamental e médio, na forma integrada a educação profissional. Assim, o objetivo geral desse estudo foi analisar a EJA no contexto da meta 10 do PNE. Para tanto, utilizou-se a pesquisa qualitativa delimitada no estudo bibliográfico e documental. Os resultados preliminares da pesquisa indicam a EJA como estratégia para reduzir as desigualdades sociais. Para tanto, é preciso expandir a oferta de escolarização básica, oferecer cursos que atendam as especificidades da população, garantir acessibilidade e um currículo que valorize as experiências de vida.
