COMPULSORY UNIVERSITY EXTENSION AIMED AT BASIC EDUCATION AS A RESOURCE FOR ACHIEVING THE GOALS OF THE NATIONAL EDUCATION PLAN

Resumo: University extension is a function that is inseparable from teaching and research, bringing it closer to society and the surrounding communities. This paper aims to present a literature review on extension projects that can help public and private high schools in meeting the goals of the National Education Plan (PNE). It is hoped that the scientific articles already published on the subject will contribute to the policy that guides the structuring of the new PNE for secondary education. To this end, we used a method based on systematic bibliographic review (SBR), looking at publications in renowned digital databases (Portal Capes Periódicos, Scopus, Science Direct and Web of Science) over the last 20 years (2003-2023). The results show that the literature on the subject is scarce, although there are relevant articles that indicate successful extensive actions in different communities and that can be linked the goals 3, 6, 7, 8, 11 and 12 of the PNE for high school. The conclusion is that extension courses can be used within regular high school, as their objectives are consistent with the PNE guidelines.

Este artículo tiene como objetivo presentar una revisión bibliográfica sobre los proyectos de extensión que pueden ayudar a las escuelas secundarias públicas y privadas a cumplir los objetivos del Plan Nacional de Educación (PNE). Se espera que los artículos científicos ya publicados sobre el tema contribuyan a la política que orienta la estructuración del nuevo PNE para la educación secundaria. Para ello, se utilizó el método basado en la revisión bibliográfica sistemática (RBS), considerando las publicaciones en bases de datos digitales de renombre (Portal Capes Periódicos, Scopus, Science Direct y Web of Science) de los últimos 20 años (2003-2023). Los resultados indican que la literatura sobre el tema es escasa, pero existen artículos relevantes que indican acciones extensivas de éxito en diferentes comunidades y que pueden vincularse a los objetivos 3, 6, 7, 8, 11 y 12 del PNE para la enseñanza media. Se concluye que los cursos de extensión pueden utilizarse dentro de la escuela secundaria regular, ya que sus objetivos están en consonancia con las directrices del PNE.A extensão universitária é uma função indissociável às funções de ensino e de investigação, aproximando-a da sociedade e das comunidades do entorno. Este trabalho visa apresentar uma revisão bibliográfica sobre projetos de extensão que possam auxiliar as escolas públicas e privadas de Ensino Médio no cumprimento das metas do Plano Nacional de Educação (PNE). Espera-se que os artigos científicos já publicados sobre o tema reúnam contribuições a política que orienta a estruturação do novo PNE para o ensino médio. Para tanto, recorreu-se ao método baseado na revisão bibliográfica sistemática (RBS), considerando as publicações em bases digitais renomadas (Portal Capes Periódicos, Scopus, Science Direct e Web of Science) dos últimos 20 anos (2003-2023.
