Professional education and the labor market: critical reflection

Resumo: With the suspension of in-person classes, caused by the dissemination of Covid-19, education in several countries started to adopt remote learning. In Brazil, this scenario, which begins in March 2020, contributes to the increase in social inequalities. Teaching in the midst of so many economic, social and political crises has survived, but faces difficulties, including the guarantee of students' access to remote activities in this pandemic period. In this context, the questions about the relationship between professional education and the labor market within the scenario of economic crisis that begin before the pandemic. The present work has as its main objective to reflect about this relationship. The text results from a literature review on the subject and points to the main challenges of education in capitalist society

No Brasil, tal cenário, que se inicia em março de 2020, contribui para o aumento das desigualdades sociais. O ensino em meio a tantas crises econômicas, sociais e políticas tem sobrevivido, mas encontra dificuldades, entre elas a garantia de acesso dos alunos as atividades remotas nesse período pandêmico. Neste contexto nos questionamentos sobre a relação entre a educação profissional e o mercado de trabalho dentro do cenário de crise econômica que têm início antes da pandemia. O presente trabalho tem como objetivo central refletir acerca dessa relação.
