Resumo: This work aims to understand the importance of corporeality and motricity for children in basic education and to analyze the impacts of play and body movement for the integral formation of children. The methodology used was the bibliographic review, which analyzed the works of authors dealing with the subject in question. The results show that the game is a student development tool, where through it, she develops her process of creativity and learning. Therefore, it is concluded that the body should be valued by the school, because it is through it that the child socializes, interacts and perceives itself in the world, expressing its subjectivity through the transformation of reality.

A metodologia utilizada foi à revisão bibliográfica, onde foram analisadas obras de autores que tratam da temática em questão. Os resultados mostram que o jogo é uma ferramenta de desenvolvimento do aluno, onde através deste, ela desenvolve seu processo de criatividade e aprendizagem.
