Challenges and possibilities of teaching work during pandemic

Resumo: The period of the Covid-19 pandemic was a moment of resignification, as it allowed teachers to rethink their teaching practice. However, there are many difficulties found by teachers that they had to adapt to this new reality. According to this new context, the following issue came out: What are the challenges and possibilities that teachers faced during the pandemic period? To answer this question, the objectives of this research are: to understand the challenges that teachers went through during the pandemic; and realize the importance of praxis when redefining the teaching practice. The research is qualitative and exploratory. The respondents were three professors. The results show that some professors had difficulties in the transition from face-to-face to remote teaching, as they were not prepared to deal with digital resources. However, they managed to adapt themselves and introduce new and effective teaching methodologies for remote learning.

Todavia, muitas foram as dificuldades encontradas pelos docentes para conseguirem se adaptar a essa nova realidade. Diante disso, surgiu a seguinte problemática: Quais os desafios e as possibilidades encontradas pelos docentes no período de pandemia? Para responder essa indagação, os objetivos desse trabalho são: compreender os desafios enfrentados por professores diante do contexto de pandemia; e perceber a importância da práxis na ressignificação da prática docente. A pesquisa é qualitativa e exploratória. Os participantes foram três professores do ensino superior. Os resultados apontam que alguns docentes tiveram dificuldades na transição do ensino presencial para o remoto, pois não estavam preparadas para lidar com os recursos digitais.
