Education for Ethnic-Racial Diversity: a study with teachers from two State Schools in Taperoá-BA

Resumo: This article is the result of a study carried out with teachers of basic education from the state schools Doutor Antônio Balbino and Estela Aleluia Guimarães in the municipality of Taperoá-Bahia. The research presented by objective; carry out a comparative analysis of racial-ethnic relations in school practices in schools, as well as the views of teachers on the knowledge that intertwines the ethnic-racial epistemological field. The participating public was made up of ten teachers (as) who worked in the afternoon shift of these educational spaces. To survey the data, a semi-structured interview was used, constituting a qualitative research. In addition, the discussion here is intended to reflect on the educational actions of educational institutions, also seeking to understand the importance of teacher training, to develop educational practices that value difference.

A investigação apresentou por objetivo; realizar uma análise comparativa sobre as relações étnico-raciais nas práticas escolares das referidas escolas, como também, os olhares dos docentes sobre os saberes que entrelaçam o campo epistemológico étnico-racial. O público participante foi constituído por dez professores(as) que atuavam no turno vespertino destes espaços educativos, para o levantamentos dos dados utilizou-se a entrevista semiestruturada, constituindo-se de uma pesquisa de natureza qualitativa.
