Scientific research on teaching Natural Sciences in Rural Education: literary review

Resumo: | Rural education is a teaching modality aimed at the interests of rural people. In this context, our study proposed a literary analysis on the teaching of Natural Sciences in Rural Education. With a 10-year temporal frame, from 2010 to 2020, a period on which Rural Education Teaching has been implemented in Brazil, it was possible to identify a total of nine studies. With an established corpus, it was possible to categorize the studies found based on Bardin, which made it possible to define four categories: “theoretical studies”, “teaching methodology proposals”, “textbook assessment”, and “interdisciplinary teaching”. This study allowed for the identification of some concepts that need to be considered in the area. We understood that, even though Rural Education has been discussed for over a decade, it is still not enough and, even though its importance, there are many barriers to implement it. |

Nesse contexto, o artigo propôs fazer uma análise literária sobre o Ensino de Ciências Naturais na Educação do Campo. Com um recorte temporal de 10 anos, de 2010 a 2020, intervalo em que tem se implementado as Licenciaturas em Educação do campo no Brasil, foi possível identificar um quantitativo de 9 trabalhos. Tendo o corpus formalizado, pôde-se categorizar os trabalhos encontrados utilizando-se de elementos de análise de conteúdo de Bardin, sendo possível definir 4 categorias, as quais: ‘estudos teóricos’, ‘propostas metodológicas de ensino’, ‘avaliação de material didático’ e ‘ensino interdisciplinar’.
