Monitoring the history of education in times of pandemic of Covid-19

Resumo: The work deals with the monitoring project in the discipline of History of Brazilian Education by remote means in the midst of the new coronavírus pandemic. Its main objective is to reflect on the teaching profession and the importance of monitoring in the context of the professionalization of the Pedagogy course student. The bibliographical research had as theoretical presuppositions the contributions of Saviani (2021), May (2001), Ghiraldelli Júnior. (2001), Barbosa, Viega e Batista (2020), Santana e Almeida (2020), Vasconcelos (2020) e Dantas (2014), and field research, using participant observation that provided the alignment of student’s expectations and the objective of monitoring. We conclude that monitoring brought a fluid dialogue between students and the discipline, provided by the dynamics developed in the virtual classrooms, as well as providing student’s curiosity about the work developed in this scholarship. It brought reflections on scholarships in the academic sphere, due to their importance in subsidizing studies, as well as in deepening the teaching activity that is the focus of the monitoring scholarship. From the expected results, we point out a greater participation in the virtual classrooms, the engagement of students and students in the dynamics. From monitoring, a growth in the monitor’s autonomy during the course and a commitment to planning with the teacher was observed. The writing of academic papers is part of the monitor’s attributions, which are still under construction, which makes SEPEMO an important part of this learning process. Monitoring is always a positive factor in the disciplines where they are developed, in this period of pandemic it acted as a bridge between what was planned and the development of the planned activity.

Tendo como principal objetivo refletir sobre a profissão docente e a importância da monitoria no âmbito da profissionalização do discente do curso de Pedagogia. A pesquisa bibliográfica teve como pressupostos teóricos as contribuições de Saviani (2021), May (2001), Ghiraldelli Júnior. (2001), Barbosa, Viega e Batista (2020), Santana e Almeida (2020), Vasconcelos (2020) e Dantas (2014), e a pesquisa de campo, utilizando a observação participante que proporcionou o alinhamento das expectativas dos alunos e o objetivo da monitoria. Concluímos que a monitoria trouxe um diálogo fluido entre os alunos e a disciplina, proporcionado pelas dinâmicas desenvolvidas nas salas virtuais, bem como proporcionou a curiosidade dos alunos sobre o trabalho desenvolvido nessa bolsa de estudos. Trouxe reflexões sobre as bolsas no âmbito acadêmico, por sua importância no subsídio aos estudos, bem como no aprofundamento da atividade docente que é o foco da bolsa de monitoria. Dos resultados esperados, apontamos uma maior participação nas salas virtuais, o engajamento dos alunos e alunas nas dinâmicas. Da monitoria foi observado um crescimento de autonomia da monitora durante a disciplina e um compromisso com o planejamento junto à professora. A escrita de trabalhos acadêmicos é parte das atribuições da monitora que estão ainda em construção, o que faz do SEPEMO ser parte importante desse aprendizado.
